Gimme the trailer for Shelter

shelter_poster.jpgChris Elston’s thriller “Shelter” takes the notion of the end of the world and gives it a dramatic twist. Suppose you knew that in an hour a worldwide catastrophe was going to happen and you also knew of a place where your safety would be guaranteed. Now suppose that this refuge could only provide safety for 10 people but that there were more than that small number waiting inside. Would you be able to decide whether your life was worth more than the life of another? Could you defend yourself from others that wanted to take your spot? What would you do if your space was assured but you still had to help decide who among the others would stay and who would be kicked out? Could you make those kinds of decisions or would you let others make them for you?

MovieSet’s page for “Shelter” has gone live and now you can watch the trailer for this tense pre-post-apocalyptic faceoff. In addition to the film’s trailer we also have five scenes that you can stream and see. Stick with MovieSet and we promise that we won’t vote to kick you out of the survival shelter when the end of the world comes.

I first received this trailer in a promotional mailing. It’s crisp and original with solid writing. This is a director and writer to watch.

Wow! This movie looks intense. Good work by the director: writing, acting, and directing this movie. That’s hard to do, and it looks like he pulled it off really well.

I have been excitedly watching (and sometimes participating in) the film careers of Chris Elston (wonderful writer-director) and Casey Brooks (fabulous DP).

They are A-list talent in the making. I’ve never doubted they’d make it to the top. Creative, cost-effective, sharp, fun to work with, and absolutely brilliant.

I auditioned for one of Chris’s films, and, because he liked my audition so much (even though I was the wrong age for the parts), he quickly wrote me a role that was better than what I auditioned for!

SHELTER is has the tension and character flow of LOST. He’s got so many wonderful scripts - folks, SHELTER is just the tip of the iceberg…..
