Wolverine looking BAAAAAD (but in a good way)

Here’s Hugh Jackman showing his R-face (as in “RRRRRAAAGHHH”) in a scene from X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It’s a spin-off from 20th Century Fox’s popular (and profitable) X-Men film series but this one places Jackman’s mutant front and center. If you still want to see more superpowers than just Wolvie’s healing factor and his metal claws, there are plenty of good and bad guys introduced in the movie.
For starters there’s Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, one of the other men recruited into the Weapon X program that made Wolverine. Liev Schreiber plays Sabretooth, Wolverine’s former best friends and now his most deadly enemy. Dominic Monaghan from Lost is Beak, Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am is another Weapon X soldier named John Wraith, Taylor Kitsch from Friday Night Lights is Gambit and Danny Huston (30 Days of Night) is William Stryker, the military man behind the Weapon X program. Wolverine pops its claws in cinemas on May 1, 2009.
