Christian Bale Arrested
Published by Mike Browne on July 21st, 2008 - 10:13 pm
That Dark Knight moniker just might be fitting for Christian Bale. The dark part at least. According to Reuters and other news services, Bale, star of the record breaking The Dark Knight was arrested in London this morning for allegedly assaulting his mother, 61 and his sister, 40.
London Police were typically cryptic in their statement seen below:
"A 34-year-old man attended a central London police station this morning by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He currently remains in custody."
However The Hollywood Reporter is stating that Bale has been freed after being detained for four hours.
A Snapshot of MovieSet Life
Published by Mike Browne on July 21st, 2008 - 1:51 amDuring our regular Monday meeting we had an onset spy surreptitiously snap a behind the scenes photo with his iPhone:

The person with his back to the camera is yours truly, to my left is MovieSet CEO, Colleen Nystedt, with Peewee (the real boss) in her lap. Next to Colleen are the two Ryans, not to be confused with the old English comedy duo The Two Ronnies. On Ryan's lap is Max the Bichon Frise, who as though it would appear so, was not chairing the meeting. And finally, and in the most unflattering pose, is someone who now hates me, fellow blogger Patrick Sauriol, who is either listening intently, sniffing his own armpit or sneaking in a little catnap.
From the mind of Jeff Bridges
Published by patrick on July 9th, 2008 - 10:58 pmI found this on the official website of actor Jeff Bridges and it's so nifty that I have to share it with everyone that I know. And after testing it out on myself and the rest of the peeps in the MovieSet offices, I can vouch that what he says is absolutely 100% true.
Go on, try it yourself and marvel at what you can learn from a Hollywood celebrity!

In the seemingly never-ending media scrum against "Postal" filmmaker Uwe Boll, the owners of Stride gum are siding with those who have thrown their support behind the internet petition to get Boll to stop making movies.
