The Oscars are coming. One of the soundtracks that is sure to be nominated is from the film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
The beautifully put together package is “a 2-CD collection from the acclaimed major motion picture featuring the compelling original score by Alexandre Desplat plus classic music by Louis Armstrong, The Platters and Bix Beiderbecke.” Accompanying the haunting score on one disk, the other contains jazz from New Orleans and other classics. Inside are some fantastic photo stills from the film.
My favorite picture in the package is one we didn’t see in the movie but is too cool not to show you. Here’s Queenie and baby Benjamin:

We want to give our copy away to one lucky reader. You have to do some homework first.
To win send us an email with the subject line BENJAMIN BUTTON CD, containing your name, email and snail mail address to contests@movieset.com and tell us which author wrote the short story this film is based on. Entries must be received by midnight of Thursday January 22, 2009 and the winner will be announced on Friday, January 23, 2009.
Good luck!

it was a little weird to see an old version of Brad Pitt’s face pasted onto a kid’s body, but i guess that’s why they call it a “curious case”

This movie was good, but I don’t know that it deserved the slew of Oscar nominations it received.
