After having a sword fight against Uma Thurman inside a mobile home (”Kill Bill”), Daryl Hannah ditches the eyepatch and bugs both of her eyes out in “The Cycle”, a new thriller that’s written and directed by Michael Bafaro. Hannah plays Carrie Mitchell, a woman making a road trip towards a new life. While stopping for gas in a small Maine town Carrie has a strange conversation with the odd attendant before moving on. Further down the road she narrowly avoids hitting a frantic young woman thats stumbles from out of the woods: Amy Singer (Leah Gibson), who, covered with blood, has obviously been through some kind of hell. Carrie listens intently as Amy tells her story of the horrifying events that befell her party of friends earlier…
