‘The Irishman’ Producer Bart Rosenblatt talks Green Screens & Car Explosions

Get your first look at official footage from the upcoming crime/drama The Irishman! In a MovieSet exclusive interview, Producer Bart Rosenblatt takes you behind the scenes to discuss the two biggest challenges while filming.  Find out how green screens were used to create the illusion of a huge grain ship at Detroit’s Nicholson docks and the hard work that went into blowing up cars in downtown Detroit.

The Irishman Green Screen

Based on true events, The Irishman chronicles the rise and fall of infamous Cleveland gangster Danny Greene, who engaged in a power struggle with the Italian mob.  Greene was as an upstart longshoreman union rep and later became a cocky, legendarily difficult-to-kill troublemaker in the world of organized crime in the 1970’s.
