Twilight Halloween - Sparkly Vampires and the Women who love them
Posted by Shannon on Friday, October 30, 2009
Rolling on with ideas and inspirations for Halloween costumes and no doubt, the parties, clubs and streets will be loaded with sparkly vampires and Anne Cullen, Bella Swan and maybe a few werewolves (thought likely no bare-chested Jacobs).
Here’s a guide for assembling your Forks-worthy outfit for haunting your town.
PS If you costume turns out great, submit to Strutta’s Halloween Costume contest and join Hugh Hefner with a Playboy Bunny, Ghostbuster and three variations of Johnny Depp characters among others …
Twilight’s Edward & Bella
Dressing up as Twilight’s Bella and Edward is possibly one of the easiest and most recognizable costumes to pull off. Your own wardrobe should suffice, but where you’re going to need to spend your moola is on white face paint and hair products.
First up, to disguise yourself as a successful Edward you’ll need 3 main articles of clothing: grey-blue jeans, navy collard or un-collard shirt and a grey pea coat. Now its time to break out the white face paint and hair gel.
Good luck with this, I suggest you look long and hard at pictures of Robert Pattinson before attempting to reconstruct it on your own head. Don’t be afraid to get into character at parties! Stick to dark corners that are ideal for teenage brooding and when speaking to others, never raise your voice above an evocative whisper.
Hair: Robert Pattinson/ Edward Cullen is known for those tousled up-brushed locks. To create this look, you will need to cover your hair in gel or mousse. Mess your hair and comb the front up and out. Allow the mouse to set and give your hair a once over spritz with hair spray. check out some of Roberts other looks over at coolmenshair.com
Wanna be Bellla? Bella can be as equally easy to dress up as with clothes from your own wardrobe. First of all you’ll need a pair of skinny jeans (brown corduroy or otherwise), a zip up jacket hoodie and a non descript t-shirt or tank-top. Bella isn’t as pale as Edward so go light, not white. Keep your hair straight at the top, but wavy at the bottom. A thin brown headband is optional, but don’t forget to bring along a tube of chap stick as the most crucial part of this costume is a bitten bottom lip (thanks KStew).

Finally! Pictures from the set of ‘A-Team‘ have arrived. The new movie starring Liam Neeson as ‘Hannibal’, Bradley Cooper as ‘Faceman’, Sharlto Copely from ‘District 9’ as ‘Murdoch’, and Quinton Rampage Jackson as BA Baracus is filming in Vancouver this month. Initially released by inf daily you can find all the pics over at WWTDD.com

Directed by Joe Carnahan, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team.

The ‘A-Team‘ movie is in production in Vancouver and golden boy Bradley Cooper arrived to share the city’s glow along with Robert Pattinson but fans and industry types alike are still wondering, “Who will be Cooper’s co-stars?”
MovieSet speculated a few months back on who could/should/might play each of the iconic TV characters in ‘New A-Team Movie - Who should play B.A., Face, Murdoch & Hannibal?‘ But so far only a few actors are confirmed. Are they keeping this *very, very secret* or are they really still in casting mode?
The assumption is that Cooper will play Templeton “Faceman” Peck made famous by (the original BSG Starbuck) Dirk Benedict, and Irishman and Jedi Liam Neeson is aboard to play Colonel Hannibal (formerly played by the late George Peppard), a role some though would go to George Clooney (heh as-if). However, no one knows for sure and, as such, the rumors are flying and several variations on the cast roam the Internet substantiating Woody Harrelson, Common, Bruce Willis, Ice Cube, Mel Gibson and others in roles.
Last week, ‘The Sun’ from the UK proclaimed that Mixed Marital Arts fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson would play the role popularized by Mr. T (note: watching Rocky 3 recently reminds me this guy could actually act) in “Meet the All New BA Baracus.” The rumor mill went into full speed and even UFC boss Dana White chimed in with his opinion of fighters becoming actors.
MMA Fanhouse and a few others picked up the story saying:
“The charismatic former UFC light-heavyweight champion first mentioned the possibility over a year ago, and apparently won the role in the film ahead of other possibilities including rappers 50 Cent and The Game. The movie is currently in pre-production and scheduled for a June 2010 release.”
The report was shot-down by MTV when not confirmed by any real source, saying:
“What I CAN tell you is that I reached out to Jackson’s publicist who checked with the fighter’s manager, as Jackson himself is currently on hiatus. The response? “His manager said it wasn’t true.” Move along people. There’s absolutely nothing to see here.”
Indeed, the Monday morning “official” rumor sheets didn’t mention anything so we are still waiting to see who dons the gold chains and sits behind the wheel of the van. Unless of course, they re-invent all of the characters since this time the team is apparently Gulf/Iraq war veterans rather than Vietnam-conflict military prisoners.
In the meanwhile, we’ll continue to speculate and pity the fools who guess the A-Team’ movie casting wrong next time.

Famed horror and fantasy filmmaker Guillermo del Toro is striking balance in the vampire underworld. The Oscar-nominated director’s first novel, The Strain, puts the undead back in what he feels is their rightful place in mythology, as terrifying, remorseless entities, comforted by despair and tragedy. His dark muse, dredged up from vampire lore of centuries past, is sure to level a spear directly at the heart of Twilight fans, languishing in the romantic world of author Stephenie Meyer.

The A-Team
is a classic 80’s American action adventure television series about a fictional group of ex-United States Army Special Forces who work as soldiers of fortune while being on the run from the military for a “crime they didn’t commit“.
The nickname for “A-teams” comes from the Operational Detachments Alpha (ODA). The US Army Special Forces uses the term ODA for their 12-man direct operations teams.
The A-Team was created by writers and producers Frank Lupo and Stephen J. Cannell (who also collaborated together on Wiseguy, Riptide and Hunter) at the behest of Brandon Tartikoff, NBC’s Entertainment president.
What we know:
The A-Team will be Filming in Vancouver Aug. 17 ~ and in the Middle East shortly after.
Plot: The storyline is expected to be brought up to date featuring a new team of military men on the run. They will most likely be veterans of the Gulf War. (JM/WN)
Director: Joe Carnahan
The big-budget project, being directed by Joe Carnahan (”Smokin’ Aces”) from a screenplay by Derek Haas and Michael Brandt (”Wanted”), already has a June 11, 2010, release date. Ridley and Tony Scott are producing.
An A-Team movie has long been desired by the fans with a number of high profile stars touted to take on the roles made famous by George Peppard (Colonel John ‘Hannibal’ Smith ), Mr. T (Sergeant Bosco ‘B.A’ Baracas), Dirk Benedict (Lieutenant Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck) and Dwight Schultz (Captain H.M. He has also done an extensive amount of work since the A-Team including Terminator:Salvation, Madworld, Spiderman: web of shadows, a ton of voice acting includings Afro Samurai, Final Fantasy, Mass Effect, God of War, Fantastic 4, Metal Gear Solid, Superman: Returns, Splinter Cell and a ton more. Click the name fot the full list.
Who Should play..
Face - He’s the smooth ladies man often seen wearing an ascot and creating diversions
Bradley Cooper (Confirmed)
IESB asked Bradley Cooper point blank if he was excited about playing Faceman in The A-Team. His reaction? A mixture of surprise and astonishment - “That’s out already!?”
Following some laughter and excitement, he continued, “Wow. Yeah…its Joe Carnahan’s. It’s very interesting. It’ll be cool. It will be cool [to] see what…He’ll make a great movie out of it.”

Who do you think would play this role to the fullest? Hook us up with a comment.
In line with the TV series, producers are planning to keep the action non-mortal instead concentrating on large-scale explosions and clever inventions. The budget is expected to be over the $100 million (£66m) mark, and pundits are predicting a full-on special effects extravaganza.
