According to Variety, the release dates for some anticipated upcoming films have been shuffled. Among the films who’s dates have been changed are Wolfman, starring Benicio del Toro, Nottingham, directed by Ridley Scott and starring Russell Crowe and Fast and Furious:
Marking major changes to next year’s slate, Universal Pictures has pushed back the release of horror franchise hopeful “The Wolfman” from April 3 to Nov. 6 and taken Ridley Scott’s “Nottingham” out of 2009 entirely.
Also, U’s “Fast and Furious” will now open on April 3, instead of June 12.
“Nottingham,” toplining Russell Crowe, will open in 2010, but U did not set a specific date. [more at source]

A trailer for CHE
Wednesday, December 03, 2008
Here’s the latest trailer for Steven Soderbergh’s epic Che:
It appears that Che Guevara really is more than just a cool image on a t-shirt. Guevara was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary, politician, author, physician, military theorist, guerrilla leader and obviously someone worth making a very long film about. So long, four and on half hours in fact, that it required being broken into two parts. The first one called The Argentinian is due for a January 2009 release and the second part, entitled Guerrilla, is slated for a month later, in February 2009.
I guess the above trailer covers both films.
All kidding aside, Benicio del Toro has already received a best acting award from Cannes for his performance, so watch for an Oscar nod for him as well.
