contest

And the winner of what was in Mini-Indy's bag was...

postal_indy_hat.jpg...Susan Ladd! Our winner used her mental savvy to think about what could be stashed inside Mini-Indy's bag and guessed it was a 1943 MKVII gas mask. Unfortunately Susan was wrong; tucked away inside the satchel was a one-of-a-kind Krotchy doll made especially for "Postal" and that comes in its own packaging.

Win a Ben X prize pack!

archlord.jpgIf you're interest has been tickled by our coverage of "Ben X", or you're a fan of video games, or better yet, want to catch a free showing of the film or win a free videogame (and hey, who doesn't want free swag?), pay attention because we can set up our Canadian fans living large in Toronto and Vancouver.

Go to Jail

jail_set_visit.jpgSince we're hanging tiiiight with Dr. Uwe Boll and doing a mega-cool contest to celebrate the May 23 release of "Postal", the guy invited MovieSet to come down to the set of his latest project.

Free NYC screening of Postal and Uwe talks Indy

uwe_boll_iview_postalUwe Boll dropped by the MovieSet offices last week to talk about his latest film and why he's issued a challenge to the world's greatest adventurer, Indiana Jones. Boll's "Postal" is primed to open on Friday, May 23 -- one day after "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", the fourth movie in the Indiana Jones series, arrives on cinema screens.

Charlie Bartlett winners announced!

Today was the big day, not just because it's a Leap Day (go February 29 birthday people go!) but that it was the day we drew the winners of the "Charlie Bartlett" contest. As the time grew close a hush descened upon the office. You could feel the electricity in the air, and it wasn't just from the static discharge that comes from walking on a carpet and opening a metal doorknob (but that helped.)

Let's shake hands and be friends

It's two days after the Academy Awards and I think that my hangover has finally abated. Well, at least it's gone down to the point where the letters on the keyboard have stopped moving and words are a lot easier to make, so why not make my introduction to the lovely readers of Movieset?
