Meet the Werewolves - New Featurette from Twilight ~ New Moon

This blogger is rather excited about (ahem *sexy* rising star) Abbie Cornish in Jane Campion’s (noted Director of ‘The Piano’) ‘Bright Star‘ finally arriving in theaters. If you dig poetry, history and love, then you are likely to swoon for this period piece about the burgeoning love affair between English poet John Keats (played by Ben Whishaw) and his neighbor crush Fanny Brawne (Abbie Cornish).

And, speaking for myself again, there are few better interviewers than Charlie Rose (Tavis Smiley and John Stewart are other personal faves) so here’s Jane Campion chatting across the round oak table with the venerable Mr. Rose to help get you in-the-know on this Oscar-buzzing movie.

Oh Hannah! How can you be so talented? Before you tell me Hannah isn’t really who she says she is, look at these bonus clips from ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie. BTW, I kinda like Miley more, but don’t tell Hannah, I don’t want to hurt her feelings.

‘Hannah Montana: The Movie’ comes out on DVD/Blu-Ray on August 18th. Remember to enter: ‘Hannah Montana: The MovieSet Sweepstakes!’ 3 Grand Prize film cells.

Hannah Montana: The Movie - Blooper: “Go Daddy, it’s your birthday” - Kind of a strange clip where Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) runs through a group of people waving their hands in the air.

Hannah Montana: The Movie - Deleted Scene: “You’re killing me” in which Jackson Stewart (Jason Earles) pulls Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) aside to tell her a secret.

“I Felt Like I Was on Happy Drugs the Whole Time”

The story behind the making of ‘Amazon Falls’ sounds like a movie in itself. With no script approved, but a cast and crew on stand-by, Director Katrin Bowen called on her friend, Writer Curry Hitchborn who cranked out a complete script in two weeks (at the expense of his health and sanity apparently).

April Telek as 'Jana' and William B. David as 'Calvin' in 'Amazon Falls'

The screenplay was turned around in record time and the roles cast to tell the story of a B-actress who’s career is done - except she’s the only one who won’t accept it.

In this collection of interviews from the set, a variety of actors and creatives including (friend of MovieSet) Garry Chalk playing a security guard, April Telek as ‘Jana,’ Executive Producer Darren Reiter, Production Coordinator Drew Scott, William B. Davis as ‘Calvin,’ Line Producer Robyn Wiener, Ben Ratner as ‘Derek’.

They discuss their motivations for participating in the project during the hectic 12 day shoot and all express their respect and admiration for the renegade director Katrin Bowen. For her part, she mentions the bliss she felt while seeing the whole picture come together, describing the feeling as ‘being on happy pills the whole time I was shooting - it was crazy.’

Movie:The Hurt Locker

Release Date: July 26th 2009 (Limited)

Grade: 4/4

JEREMY RENNER stars in THE HURT LOCKER.

Simply put, “The Hurt Locker” is one of the greatest war films I have ever seen (I have to admit I have many still to see). The cast captures the stresses of war in all aspects, and the writing evokes raw emotion that questions the humanity within all of us. Every aspect of the film fits within the opening quote “war is a drug.” The fighting and chaos of war drives the main character, and pushes the audience along with the rush. “The Hurt Locker” became my favorite film of the year after just one viewing.

megan fox isabel lucas hotter who

Comparing Megan Fox to one hot actress or another is nothing new.

The latest hottie on the list is Isabel Lucas, Megan’s co-star from this summer’s blockbuster hit.

But as the Autobots and Decepticons duke it out on screen in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” another war will be raging on in the hearts and pants of most male (and sometimes female) audiences all across the globe.

The battle to decide which big block bustin’, eye-poppin’ babe is hotter.
The Candidates?

Obviously the two most searched terms in the whole wide web.

Georges St-Pierre as "The Crusher"

UFC 100 arrived July 11th and beyond Brock Lesnar acting out, all light was cast upon Georges “Rush” St-Pierre & his victory over Thiago Alves. GSP has proven yet again that he is the rightful Welterweight Champion, and possibly the best pound for pound fighter in any division.

Fedor Emelianenko via Wikipedia

While GSP lives/eats/breathes “Rush” in The Octagon (and his hometown of Montreal, Quebec, Canada), he plays “The Crusher” in upcoming film “Death Warrior“ written by martial artist Hector Echavarria.

The film has more than just those two attached; Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Keith Jardin, and Rashad Evans also lend their real world fighting expertise to this MMA-driven movie.

While you consider who is the “Best Pound for Pound MMA Fighter” - Fedor Emelianenko or Georges St-Pierre - check out this clip from Death Warrior:

Head over to the Death Warrior sitelet for more news, pictures, interviews and video clips from the set.

Rob Van Dam gives us a taste of his agility and strength in an exclusive MovieSet.com Behind the Scenes clip on the “Wrong Side of Town” set. He jokes with Director David Defalco and the camera saying, “Watch how everyone tries to protect me and make it look like I’m agile enough to climb up that fire escape.” After hopping up on dumpsters and scrambling up a ladder without breaking a sweat, he jokes, “That’s the way us action stars live man!”

We also have TONS of other videos on the ‘Wrong Side of Town’ Sitelet! Check out our EXCLUSIVE interviews with Rob Van Dam, Batista and the Director David Defalco. On top of that there are over 150 pictures from the set! So if you are a WWE fan you should definitely check them out!
