Finally, some new details about the ‘King Of Fighters‘ Movie have emerged. It’s in the form of an interview with actor/stuntman Ray Park (who also played Darth Maul) who plays “Rugal Bernstein” in the movie. He talks about trying to stay true to the game, and how his background in gymnastics and martial arts prepared him for the stunt work that needed to be done for the film.

With production wrapping on the highly anticipated “King of Fighters” live-action movie, MovieSet.com nabbed a King of Fighters director’s chair - autographed by Bernice Liu (Vice) - and gave it away to one lucky winner. Since this movie is based on the hit video game series of the same name, we also threw in a Sony PSP console and the “KoF” game. 10 runners up received free movie tickets.
So congratulations to Eddie K. of Alexandria, Virginia! You’ve the directors chair, and PSP with the King of Fighters game! Woot!

Welcome to ANOTHER episode of Behind the Scenes!! Our Hosts Eric and Shaun are pumping out the content this week! First we start off talking about the new King of Fighters movie! First off we take another look at King of Fighters! Its an exciting new movie based on the Video Game. MovieSet has a few exclusive behind the scenes interviews and clips! Check it out! King of Fighters is a stylish, high-octane, live action feature based on the highly successful video game franchise, in which the last surviving descendants of three legendary clans are continuously transported to other dimensions to test their martial arts skills against an evil force that seeks to invade and infect the real world.
It’s 1998 and Star Wars fanboys across the globe eagerly await the release of Episode I. But for Eric, Linus, Hutch and Windows the term “fanboy” is more than just a title, it’s a badge of honor. Spurred by impatience and an undying loyalty to their cause, these former high school friends reunite to undertake the road trip of their fan-tasies. Traveling West across the country to visit their Mecca - George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch - the plan is to break in, steal the film and stake their claim as the first fanboys in history to watch it. But to secure their place in the fanboy hall of fame, they’ll have to contend with bizarre bikers, a crazy pimp, a deranged group of trekkies 
and the quiet intensity of William Shatner.
Death Warrior is about a gritty MMA fighter is forced into a twisted, underground gambling ring in which he must fight to the death with other MMA fighters in order to save his wife from certain death at the hands of a maniacal crime boss. In a desperate race against time, he is forced into a series of increasingly violent life and death matches while simultaneously piecing together the puzzle which leads him to uncover the identity of the promoter and the ultimate showdown, in which there can only be one Death Warrior.

Titled “Making a better video game movie” Director Gordan Chan and Producer Joseph Chou talk about the movie in PART2 of this exclusive interview! They talk about the videogamer and arcade game influence on KoF. They also discuss the many different KoF storylines that they had to choose from.
The clip also features interviews with actors Bernice Liu (Vice), Monique Ganderton (Mature), Will Yun Lee (Lori) and Francoize Yip (Chizuru).

Welcome to another episode of Behind the Scenes. In this weeks episode, entitled Gigantic King of Fighters Rule - Behind the Scenes #14 we take a look at the video game inspired action flick “King of Fighters” followed by a quick checkup with Matt Aselton’s “Gigantic” and the new movie “Rules“.

In Gigantic, Brian Weathersby (Paul Dano) is a 28 year-old salesman at a high-end Swedish mattress company. The afterthought child to elderly parents, and the youngest son in a trio of successful brothers, a shady oil man, a surgeon, Brian is searching for his place in the world. Unfulfilled by his work he spends a good portion of his day pursuing his goal of someday adopting a baby from China. He gets swept up in a romance with the lovely but misguided Harriet Lolly (Zooey Deschanel) when she comes
in to his store one day and falls asleep on one of the beds. To win her over, he must compete with her bear of a father, Al Lolly, an art-collecting loudmouth with a bad back and deep pockets.
Finally we check out an indie film which is slowly gaining a cult following. The movie “Rules“ is about a Nightclub security guard who is t filled with hate, particularly after being shunned by society and seeing his life spiral out of control. The constant refusals, insults and embarrassments have worn him down, eventually causing him to snap and promising to punish anyone who disrespects him.

The MovieSet Blog has learned details about the latest video game to be turned into a movie and no, Uwe Boll is nowhere near this project’s set (hey, speaking of Mr. Boll whatever happened to the release of Far Cry?) The film is called King of Fighters and is based on the SNK Playmore arcade fighting game that debuted in 1994 and has spawned 11 sequels and 13 — yeah, you read that right — 13 spinoff games. By comparison, Capcom’s Street Fighter and Midway’s Mortal Kombat brawler franchises are still in the single digits with their sequels.
