World War Z’s writer loves his zombie director

You might recall the news that Quantum of Solace director Marc Forster has been hired to call the shots on a zombie horror film titled World War Z. Now the writer of the novel that the screenplay is based upon (whew, this sentence sounds more complicated than it actually is) has told Fangoria what he thinks of the new 007 director adapting his story into a film. Quantum of Solace director tapped for World War Z

As you all know by now, the zombie apocalypse is coming. If you are a boy scout like myself you will ‘be prepared’ and have read the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, son of the great Mel Brooks. If you’ve read that then you’re also aware he’s written an oral history of what the end times might look like called World War Z.
Hollywood, unable to pass on an obvious money maker, is making a movie to help folks prepare for the inevitable. According to Variety, in the interest of ensuring the message gets across in a clear and concise manner, Plan B productions headed by none other than Brad Pitt has given helm duties to Quantum of Solace director, Marc Forster for the project.
Looks like zombies still sell.
