Shia LaBeouf becomes The Associate
Tuesday, December 02, 2008

It doesn’t matter who you are in this big wide world of ours, you’re always just one job away from being unemployed — well, unless you’re born into royalty and vastly wealthy or money means nothing to you and you already know what your role in creation is. (Alright, there are two expections but THAT’S IT.) In these uncertain economic times it pays to know precisely where you stand in regard to you career and employment options, and for Transformers and Disturbia star Shia LaBeouf, he’s just as uncertain and scared about where his next paycheck will be coming from. Behind the scenes of the Transformers sequel
Wednesday, September 17, 2008
Whether you loved it, hated it or didn’t care about it, the powers that be are making a sequel to last year’s Transformers movie. $300 million dollars worth of ticket sales kind of helped convince Paramount and DreamWorks to pull the trigger on Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, now filming (and blowing stuff up) around the greater Los Angeles area. Transformers 2 looks bigger than the first
Thursday, September 04, 2008
If you thought Michael Bay’s first Transformers film was huge take a look at the following stunt captured by folks living in a building in the neighborhood it took place in:
Ingredients that indicate to director that he/she has a gigantic budget:
- You have control of a stretch of a busy highway in Long Beach outside of Los Angeles.
- There are at least 75 cars waiting for you to yell “Action!”
- The explosion you create goes at least 100 feet into the air and is visible from a mile away.
- You are Michael Bay shooting a sequel film that made $701 million world wide.
I hate (read: envy) you Michael Bay.
