Here’s the Wolverine trailer

20th Century Fox publicized the trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine just as much as they did the release of The Day the Earth Stood Still last week. How much of TDTESS’s $30 million dollar opening weekend box office gross was contributed by having the first-look for the Wolverine movie we can debate, but the bottom line is that the trailer looks good. Do I dare hope for a meaner, less kid friendly X-Men-ish movie? Well no, I wouldn’t go that far, but Wolverine is looking cooler by the month. Continue reading…

Wolverine looking BAAAAAD (but in a good way)

Here’s Hugh Jackman showing his R-face (as in “RRRRRAAAGHHH”) in a scene from X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It’s a spin-off from 20th Century Fox’s popular (and profitable) X-Men film series but this one places Jackman’s mutant front and center. If you still want to see more superpowers than just Wolvie’s healing factor and his metal claws, there are plenty of good and bad guys introduced in the movie. Continue reading…
